Claim Director-Marine

This is an individual contributor role within our Major & Specialty Claims Team. Investigate and settle first and third-party marine claims (personal and commercial). The position requires strong negotiation and customer service skills, including the ability to handle high profile clientele.

• Investigate and settle first and third-party marine claims
• Direct, manage, and supervise surveyors, investigators, experts, and attorneys
• Assist with technical claims handling development of staff adjusters

• 5-7 years of Marine claims experience
• A background in marine surveying, recreational marine claims adjudication or an understanding of marine (boat & yacht) repairs
• High level of competency with common workplace computer technology
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required
• Advanced level of demonstrated knowledge and skill in the following areas
